For the past few weeks I have been thinking about a few things about the Youtube channel. One of those areas was to increase Youtube Members and trying to do videos outside of the Gaming and Nintendo boxes that we play in. So I have decided to return the Smokebomb Show idea which didn’t quite fit in past attempts as a gaming only idea into a everything goes style vlog series. Ranging from creative projects, sports, politics, abit of gaming, and personal thoughts about the world.
The idea of the Smokebomb is that it’s thrown and you don’t quite know what you going to get but it’s going to be interesting – more revealing about my thoughts than in the normal NNN videos. The good thing about members only videos is that it doesn’t affect the rest of the Youtube channel. I can talk about non gaming content without bugging the gamers and you get to see other sides of me. I feel excited about talking about others subjects and it allows me to do without doing a second channel and worrying about running both of them.
As you may have caught on there’s a running theme with the Smokebomb name. There’s also the Smokebomb Store where we sell Merch and the fictional version of it that debuted in the story I wrote – “Ninty Ninja and the Smokebomb Squad”. Certain projects of mine don’t work out the first time and that’s the same as Nintendo Ninja News back in 2012. It was a project that went quiet for three years before returning as a Youtube channel and now it’s over seven and a half years old going strong.
A new video will come every couple weeks but I will be pushing out a few eps of it this month to build up content for it. I get to also talk about my writings over 27 years and other cool things I find along the way. So I think this is a good thing and this video series is $4 per month. It’s pretty cheap and even cheaper if you based in the US due to the low Aussie dollar. This will greatly help out the channel as we build the new PC which will finish towards the end of this year.
Two figures were standing outside a building looking at a sign inspecting the look of it. One dressed in a lab coast and the other in his typical ninja outfit.
“So this is the Smokebomb Store? This is how we are going to fund the whole operation?” Dr Sora the woman in the lab coat asked.
“It sure is. People come here to pick up merch that we make or we send them out to them. It’s been going pretty well so far the past few weeks.” Ninty replied.
“And the other levels to the building is where we do our work with the Virtual Motherverse. I hope that we are well protected from anyone finding out what we do. It can’t become public knowledge to everyone,” Dr Sora said.
“That’s why we are putting together the Smokebomb Squad. A team of people who will protect the store and the missions we are doing in another universe. Let’s going inside and see how your little sister is going” Ninty suggested.
The two of them opened up the door to see the store had mostly boxes and some display of merch of shirts and items inside/. There inside was a young teeenager girl looking after the operations of the store. She had on a grey ninja outfit and looked bright eyed at Ninty and Dr Sora.
“There’s alot of orders to do today. People love our merch you know,”s he said to them.
“Hana it’s your first week here. Are you enjoying yourself?” Dr Sora asked her sister.
“Oh yeah it’s been good fun so far. We haven’t had any drama but I’m ready if it comes. I’ll just use these if they run out the door without paying<‘ Hana said holding up a collection of ninja stars.
“Hang on there how did you get those?” Ninty cried out grabbing them from Hana.
“My throwing skills are pretty good so why can’t I use them” Hana protested.
“Because you are too young for that for now. Just behave and maybe one day you can learn from Ninty in the future. You running the store is already a big thing to do, “Dr Sora said looking back at Ninty.
“Why don’t I go out with you on one of your adventures? I mean you have time away from making merch and music don’t ya?” Hana asked.
Ninty thought about it for a moment and turned to Dr Sora.
“You know I do have to go to the virtual verse of Pokemon soon and catch my first Pokemon. I mean she can tag along with me right?” Ninty asked her.
Dr Sora nodded her head knowing Hana wouldn’t happy if she said no, “Alright I think she can go on a trip with you. Just be careful when you do.”
Ninty picked up a couple boxes and looked back at Hana, “Come around tomorrow and we can go and have some fun with Pokemon. I’m gonna this merch and check out the quality.” Hana smild happily while Ninty and Dr Sora walked out of the Smokebomb Store. Ninty looked at the dark clouds looking puzzled.
“This weather is looking real odd. Heavy rain one day the next it’s all sunny. It’s like someone is controlling the weather,” Ninty noted above him.
Dr Sora giggled to Ninty, “No one controls the weather. It’s just a few weeks of wild weather it’ll die down soon enough.Let me know what time you wish to do mission with Hana tomorrow.”
Ninty waved goodbye for the day and headed on his way back home. It was only the beginning for the Smokebomb Squad.
It’s time for a update on how things are going for CT Creative Life and Nintendo Ninja News. I have been adding more items to the PC Build such as a new Switch controller and a SSD Card for the PC Build. The next pieces will be the Power Supply and the RAM which will be 16gb – double the amount of what’s in the laptop. Progress on the build has slowed due to less Youtube ad dollars and donations during the past few months. I always knew how there would be some slowdowns so that’s why the PC Build would be a year long project. Because moving from laptop to desktop PC would take much longer.
On the streaming front I’m getting Xenoblade Chronciles 3 as it’s due to get a new big game for the Nintendo Switch. I’m alsdo thinking of getting Splatoon 3 as I think that would bring in new viewers as it’s popular in Japan and I’m a fan of the series. A new shooter game would be nice to play. I have also brough the PS Plus Extra which features plenty of single player game experiences. Some games I will play as a one off and others I will play a number of times. Some single player games are simply too long to stream.
I’m looking forward to the next six months as I get the PC put together, a few new stories to write and I’m sure some exciting things coming from Nintendo too!
