Three known legendary figures of their world was standing outside an old building they had gone to a long time ago but in the past recent days they had been summoned by the new mayor of the city to discuss some pressing news. One was wearing a crown and known as King Lion, the second in a blue light suit and known as Wizard and the third was a popular time traveler from the Time Cruisers called Percy Cyber. He was wearing his old blue cap with his winter coat on and blue jeans with black shoes. They marched up the stairs when Wizard was reminiscing about the first time he was at the Mayor’s office.
“Twenty years it’s been King Lion when I came here with Bill and Ben asking for funds to help build the Legomen and it’s been quite a journey. I was slightly younger in my time and so were they,” Wizard recalled.
“We were all much younger. I’m surprised I can still move my body at my age and what about you Percy?” asked King Lion.
“When you reach you’re fifties it’s not fun. I should travel to the future and find a way to bring back my youth!” he cried.
The three of them came to the Major’s door and it opened with a young face. He was happy to meet them and welcomed them inside.
“Come and have a seat everyone. My name is Mayor Waters. I’ve been mayor for the past six years since the one you knew as Mayor Davis stepped down after the most successful run in our history. He says he credits his extended time in office all to you and the Legomen,” Mayor Waters introduced himself to them.
King Lion stand in the middle chair with Wizard to his right and Percy Cyber to his right. He rubbed his shoulders noticing that outside was chilly, “It’s been quite cold lately hasn’t it?” he asked everyone.
“It has been cold and there’s a very important matter I have to talk to you three about. My advisors have been telling me that LegoLand could have faced with a major threat again, even worse than the era of Zare. I can understand this maybe an overreaction but the data I have is strong,” Mayor Waters explained to them.
“There hasn’t been anyone in our world more powerful than Zare. If they were a threat most of our members have left the Legomen and are too old to battle anymore. Your data or your information if you put it that way must incorrect,” Wizard replied. He was quite sure of himself that all threats had been defeated under his watch over the many years.
“Here’s the interesting thing Wizard. The threat is not from our universe. I think Mr. Cyber can understand where I’m coming from,” Mayor Waters explained furthered.
Percy turned to look at Wizard explained in some details, “He’s speaking about other universes via the old portal that we use to use. Where is this data that this threat is coming? The old portal has been deactivated and we decided that because it was dangerous to go out to explore. Even time traveling that my family does knows the high risks of it and we only moved through universes twice and that was highly dangerous in the end. I was lucky that myself and Cody got out alive.”
“We have to take the word from the Mayor. If he believes that…” King Lion’s words were cut when the power in the room switched off for a few moments.
Four security men entered the mayor’s office and came up to him, “Your security and the city is under attack by an unknown source. There are major power level drains across the city and reports of the same nature worldwide. You must come with us for your protect.”
King Lion rose quickly from his seat and the old leader within of old ago took command, “Where is the source of these attacks coming from? I will rebuild the Legomen if we are under attack and I will seek whoever is doing this to our people.”
One of the security guards turned to him and muttered, “From the portal that hasn’t been used in years. It’s come alive in bright lights. You have to see it to believe it.”
A sense of fear came over Wizard thinking of where the portal’s universe pointer was targeted at, “The Boy,” was all he said to himself.
Percy Cyber rose from his seat and started making calls on his phone. He ran out of the room and suddenly popped his head around the door, “Get everyone armed and ready. This is not good,”
Wizard jogged down the stairs of the Mayor’s building to see Percy was in the time cruiser. It was a black hot rod car with plane engines built on the sides of it for speed. Percy nervously played with the car door opening it up and getting inside. Wizard got into the other seat with Cyber looking at him.
“You know what’s on the other side of that portal Percy and we have to sure that he’s ok. I just don’t know what to expect,” Wizard said to him worryingly.
Percy nodded and understood him, “Everything’s going to be fine Wizard. We have been through many things. This is just another day for us.” He said with a smile. The time cruiser headed off towards the old portal towards the hill where it always belonged. Streams of power were seen being sucked into the active portal hole that shone a blue light color. Percy noticed the workers on the ground trying to cut the portal from the power grids but weren’t unable to get to them.
“These colors are off. When we used it yes it was always unstable but this is very stable and sucking in far more power than ever before. Someone is doing this from the other side. I just don’t know how. The only way Wizard is to go inside the portal ourselves. But there is the risk that we might be stuck there for good if the portal pulls in the rest of the power,” he explained to Wizard.
Above the time cruiser came a load noise and a flying ship was coming over them with massive cannons on each other and a voice appeared on the time cruiser’s radio, “Percy my boy. I’m here with King Lion and Iron Hook we are here to come with you through the portal. The King has settled a deal with the other old member of the Legomen for them to return to the city stand guard against any further threats. “It was Dr. Cyber the founder of the Time Cruisers group and the elder of the Cyber family.
“Dad, are you sure you want to come? It’s unstable out there” Percy cried holding a grip on the steering wheel through the electricity and power surges sparking in the sky.
“Once a Legoman, always a Legoman. Come on son, let’s go together!” Dr. Cyber.
The time cruiser and the time navigator ship as it was known both crossed into the portal and with a massive bang the portal drained the last reminds of power left of LegoLand and the portal switched off. Mayor Waters rushed onto the scene where the workers were now able to go into the power grid room next to the portal to check its condition.
“That was a long run up the hill. Where are they?” he asked himself worried that he had seen the best defenders of his world disappear into another.
Central Universe
Daniel Phoenix and Vincent Lamour had met up with Hayden Norman in their city in a high train station where Hayden nodded and shook both of their hands. He was wearing a smart coat on him and black pants as he pulled out his tablet to show them something interesting.
“I just heard some news from a friend of mine that a high surge of power had been found just where the tower that you and your friend Vincent went to but there’s a kicker to this,” Hayden said.
“What’s the kicker Hayden. I don’t like it when you talk like this,” Daniel warned him.
“Two UFO’s were found coming out of it. One shaped as a ship and shaped like freaking car. Bloody amazing I tell you,” he answered.
Daniel waved his hands in disbelief thinking about the objects, “They can’t be alien related? Two objects and one like a car? Let’s see if we scan them and get a point on where they are and where they are going. They could help us in the mystery of the man in the tower.”
“Why don’t we just go back to the area? Not the tower itself Daniel, I’m not stupid like you but I think we could catch them in the location. Who knows they could good guys like us. Trust me, we need to do this”
“Ok, we’ll go,” Daniel answered half defeated. The three of them heading out of the train station and searched for a car to go to the area near the Tower.
It was a few hours when the three men arrived at the area however a number of events to them seemed out of place. Vincent was the one to notice them. The three stopped the car and climbed out to investigate.
“The Tower has moved itself and I can’t understand how. The location of the tower was further out at least 200 kilometers away,” Vincent noted pointing the problem out with his cane.
“You are right, the Tower has moved its location closer to the city and I can’t understand why too. Maybe the man is using the power he has taken from us to psychically move his base closer to us for attack. Even from the investigations that I and Hayden have been through this is strange,” Daniel replied.
The three only walked a few meters where they came across crater where they did indeed saw the two objects told by Hayden in the sky was resting. A number of unknown figures was looking out over the tower watching it with interest.
“Evening to you all,” beamed Vincent cried out to the figures below. The cold air was felt by all as Hayden shook himself to keep warm
“Who are you and tell us your names,” called one figure with a crown on his head.
“My name is Vincent Lamour, and these are my friends Daniel Phoenix and Hayden Norman. We are looking for the mystery of the man in the tower,” he replied to him.
The three of them slide down the side of the hill to the crater where the man nodded to them, “My name is King Lion, leader of the Legomen and these are my men in Percy Cyber, Wizard, Dr. Cyber, and Iron Hook,”
“Did you people come through the Tower by some sort of magic or something or maybe ghostly aspects? Hayden asked doing his expert skills in ghosts and spirits.
“Yes we did but there’s a portal through the Tower here at the top as you might see. We come from another universe that has been threatened by your universe. We have been here a number of years ago through another type of problem you can say,” Percy Cyber said.
“We are not the bad people you might be suggesting. We didn’t even know what this tower can do. We are UFO researchers into ghosts and aliens and Vincent here is an old teacher with a great amount of experience. Inside there is a man who is a danger to all of us and that’s really all we known of him,” Daniel told the Legomen.
“Are you the King of this universe? You have a Wizard and a pirate by your side, it’s indeed an odd pairing wouldn’t you say,” Vincent asked him.
“Are you saying I’m odd? I don’t the sound of you!” Iron Hook snapped back his hook where his hand used to be many decades ago.
King Lion settled him down with a wave his hand, “We come from a world where there are many different walks of life but we are all the same in our thinking of protecting the people of our world and saving it from threats of evil. I have a feeling you are the same too and like to find the truth to things in life.”
“Yes you can say that again. I think we can trust each other. If we can all work together like what it seems you can do than we can try to solve this issue for good and work out what exactly is the case here,” Daniel told the group.
“We can do that Mr. Phoenix and the same to you two. This Tower I believe will be heavily protected and we would need time to understand its workings,” King Lion said agreeing to their partnership.
“I see these ships here are time travel able. I have skills and knowledge in the area due to my investigations into aliens. How do the universe portals work?” Daniel asked Percy.
Percy turned to his father Dr. Cyber to help explain in simple terms to him, “Universe portals are simple theory but requires unbelievable amount of power and skill to make them. We used to have a single point portal which means travel between two universes only. My grandson was part of a test to try a multiverse portal function which allows you to go to any universe possible. It’s been over a year since we last saw him but he wanted to go try another world to explore and enjoy himself. Since then the portal has reverted back to a single point due to some damages made during a storm. We never tried to mess with it because in events like this when a foe might be more powerful and target us. To our surprise the portal was turned off when this happened. We have no idea how that happened,” he explained to Daniel.
“Two different universes and none of us can’t figure it out. It’s back to square one and we must learn more. We must,” Vincent told the group.
The ground started to shake where the Legomen and the three researchers looked up at the Tower near them. The black tower changed color to blend into its back ground and the portal lights appeared at the top with the hovering beams of lights shot out across the land beyond them. A massive sonic boom came from the tower like a wave that covered everywhere and continued to be seen over miles ahead. Suddenly lights were flashing in the time cruiser and the time navigator ship. Percy and Dr. Cyber rushed over to the time cruiser to check the readings.
“That sonic boom is attacking billions of lives at once. It’s turning near everyone into pure energy and taking their bodies with it too. This is purely amazing and terrorizing,” Dr. Cyber shouted out from the time cruiser.
Daniel Phoenix took out his scanner device and the same wild readings were read too, “Hell this is running hot,” he jumped throwing the device to the ground.
King Lion pointed at Wizard and Iron Hook with his commanding voice, “Iron Hook, ready the time navigator ship and Wizard I want you to target the tower. See how powerful it really is. Everyone I want everyone out of three in two minutes!”
Iron Hook grabbed Hayden and Vincent and rushed them into the ship and Wizard rose his arms at the tower and shot off a powerful beam of magic. Two major shots of energy blasted through the sky opening up two portals and the process of draining power was seen to the naked eye by all.
“Even more he wants. What on god’s earth is he doing?” Percy said to himself heading into the time cruiser.
Wizard finished off his attack but there wasn’t a dent or a scratch made to the tower, “We must leave now,” he shouted heading along with Percy.
Both ships departed towards the sky as the Tower continued to drain energy from two more universes. They were unable to stop the attacks and had to retreat and see what damage the man in the tower has done to the rest of the world.
Three men stood on the highway where dozens of cars had been stopped along it. Most of the drivers were in pure shock across the City of Demons. They were the members of the Xtreme Squad, swore to protect the interests of the City of Demons. Their leader was called Lucas Walken of the famous Walken family watching the strange events unfold on them. Beams of lights were draining the city’s energy supplies like the other universes. Taking away what important assets the people needed and withdrawing it back to the mystery tower that no one knew on this world.
“Does anyone know how this is happening? There’s a giant bloody hole in the sky taking everything from us. Where is everyone else?” Lucas asked his friend to his right.
“Look, Allegheri and your father Professor Walken are coming over to help and Charles the Prime Leader has the police and the army out looking for any clues all around the City of Demons. But me personally fucks knows what’s happening,” said the other man.
“Jasper, you were always so useful in these times. What about you Cody, you know what this is?” Lucas asked.
A grown man in a white shirt, blue jeans and back to front cap watched the hole in the sky draining all the power grids in the city nodding to himself, “Yeah I know what that is and my father knows and my granddad. This is a portal to another universe. Do you remember what I told you how I came here? That’s what a portal looks like,” Cody answered him.
“Is this the portal open again for you to go home?” he asked him.
“No, and it’s not supposed to be acting like this. This portal hole has been trained to do this and in my father’s words it’s unbelievable powerful,” Cody explained.
“So boy genius, what’s your suggestion on this?” Jasper asked him.
“We can’t do anything; we don’t have the technology to fight this one off. Let’s go back to home base and see the others,” Cody suggested.
Lucas shook his head and turned around on the highway to their iconic black jeep with the machine gun shining like brand new.
“It’ll be good to see my father again and see the others too. Let’s go now,” he said to Jasper and Cody.
The three left the area while the beams were shooting down on the road while the jeep turned and dodged them with some ease.
The return back to the headquarters had a number of guests there. Lucas came into the room where Allegheri and Professor Walken were looking some television screens, “Where are the girls?” Lucas asked his father.
Professor Walken turned around with his cane to one side and black coat pants, “They have been moved away for protection and to help out the Vampire Deathlands, this issue is now worldwide so we decided to spread our skills and abilities everywhere,” the Professor answered him.
“Well great, am I still the leader of the Xtreme Squad?” Lucas complained to his father.
“You have been overruled old brother,” called a voice from behind Allegheri and Professor Walken.
Lucas walked forward as Allegheri and Professor Walken parted to see a figure in the middle appear, “Chisoutsa?” Lucas asked surprised.
“I was enjoying my retired life when this thing or whatever the hell it is happened to me. No running power, people are freaking out near the beach house and than they started to bug me into pulling on the boots to solve this case. Do you have any idea what’s happening to the city here?” she asked him.
“Yes I do and far more than you young sister. You left us and wanted to sit at a beach house drinking and smoking for the rest of your life leaving me to work my ass off for this city,” Lucas replied with a firm voice.
“Don’t you bloody tell me that? How many times have I saved The City of Demons? Who is the number one savior of this world again? Do you want me to remind you of that?”
“Chisoutsa you have been away for a while and Lucas has done an amazing task of looking after the City of Demons with the Xtreme Squad. You should be thankful,” Professor Walken reminded her.
Chisoutsa tossed her head and turned back to Lucas, “I suppose I should credit you for all the hard work you have done. Not too bad of a job. I could have done it in half the time but who’s counting on the clock.”
“That’s the best I’m going to get you from you,” Lucas replied.
Chisoutsa nodded and Lucas walked past her to Allegheri, “Seeming that Chisoutsa is past news when it comes to helping this city. How bad is this problem? As bad as Censilo or maybe the Vampire Lust?” he asked him while Chisoutsa was giving a dirty look. As Allegheri the vampire was about to answer the question someone busted into the room.
“Far worse and we are completely screwed,” called out the figure.
“Mr. Umezu, what are you doing here?” Lucas asked him concerned about his appearance.
Mr. Umezu had a drag on his cigar and walked up to the three of them, “There’s nearly no power in the City of Demons and that portal is sucking the life out of us. This is the darkest moment in the city’s history. There will be millions of deaths if you don’t stop it right now. I have a disc, let me show you,” Mr. Umezu replied.
Chisoutsa’s attention rose and walked up to the big screen where the group was found in the basement area of the Xtreme Squad headquarters. Lucas stood in the middle of Professor Walken and Allegheri the Vampire to see the data.
“This data shows where the portal energies are coming and it’s from another universe. I remembered your friend Cody talking to me about this technology a few months ago and I was interested. Now we have the real thing coming from a place called Earth. Does that ring a bell Mr. Cyber?” Mr. Umezu asked him.
Cody was silence for a moment and the word rang throughout his head, “Earth is a well known place to me, my family and the people I know called the Legomen. If there’s a major problem happening there than it’s likely my father will be there.” He answered.
“That’s wonderful, we can all go to this universe and stop this mess and you can have the wonderful family reunion since you have been stuck here for so long. There are people out there getting attacked by this portal explosion and my business is going to go bust with everything else in this world,” Mr. Umezu replied.
Chisoutsa turned to Lucas and Professor Walken and held up her old gun that she had used long ago, “We have to all go together to make this work. Me, father, and the Xtreme Squad to make this a success. We leave no stone unturned,” she told them.
“My grave concern Chisoutsa and Lucas is how quickly and vast damaging this has been on the city so far. I have this feeling we are dealing with something more powerful than we are,” the Professor replied.
“And I’m going to die wondering what could have been. I’m going to fight this the same way I have all my life. Let’s go into this portal and do this,” she told the group.
Together Chisoutsa, Lucas Walken, Professor Walken, Cody Cyber, and Mr. Umezu moved outside to see the portal in the sky beaming out its amazing power and sucking the life and power out of the city. Lucas turned to Allegheri and Jasper for a moment.
“You are the two best hands I know to defend this world. If anything happens to us please do it in our honor,” Lucas asked the pair.
“I will help with everything I can,” Allegheri replied.
“The Xtreme Squad is safe with me Lucas. You can count on that with your life,” Jasper replied too.
The group turned around to see that the portal was starting to act strangely. The blue light portal hole stopped draining electricity and turned and fixed itself on the ground. A massive blue beam shot out from it and grabbed hold of the group and disappeared in thin air. Allegheri and Jasper watched in horror and surprise not knowing what to do. The portal quickly closed up and disappeared from the City of Demons without a trace.
“What just happened? Did they go to Earth or not” asked Jasper to Allegheri.
“Whoever did this knew what they wanted and they got everything in the end. We have to move and find what damage there is,” he replied. The two headed off to find what little power the city had and how they could defend it.
Central Universe
The group was transported right outside of Daniel Phoenix’s house with a thundering bang where anyone could hear them. Chisoutsa looked around the area and saw that the others were fine. They seemed all very confused by the quick transport into Earth as the door to Daniel Phoenix opened with Daniel and Percy Cyber walking outside. Percy Cyber noticed Cody and rushed up to him quickly. He stood back for a moment in disbelief that this could be his son who had been missing for over a year.
“Cody, how did you come here? It’s wonderful to see you again!” he cried giving him the biggest hug they had in a long time.
“Dad! It’s amazing to see you again. The world I live in now had this portal sucking out everything. It’s crazy, I have to tell you everything.”
“Grandson, it’s happening here and in LegoLand. It’s happening everywhere,” Dr. Cyber said coming outside of the house.
The rest of the group from inside Daniel Phoenix’s house came outside to see what was going on. All together they were very confused about what was happening to them all.
“I’m expecting that everyone here is here for the same reason. Massive power cuts and dumb founded looks?” Mr. Umezu asked the group.
“Some of that is true but we know more than you and can you be trusted. Who are you anyway?” King Lion asked from behind Dr. Cyber and Wizard.
“Everyone. These people can be trusted, I have known them for a year and they are good people. Come on, we all here for a reason are we not?” Cody asked.
Professor Walken stood in silence and walked around the group and noticed that Vincent Lamour had a similar cane to his. He gave a smirk to him, “Leg issues too I suppose?” he asked him.
“Old age you can say. My name is Vincent Lamour and I’m pleased to meet. Sadly these are not good times we are in at the moment,” he answered introducing himself and shaking his hand.
Wizard stood in the middle of the entire group and tried to think of what was really happening, “This is not strange. This is all planned by the man in the tower. He wanted these people here to meet us and that we would do something but I don’t know what that is,” he told the group.
“So we have a target to attack now?” Chisoutsa replied standing forward to Wizard.
“A target is that is boarder line invincible. We tried to get inside a couple times. One was successful but he threw us out. There’s no way inside.” Daniel responded to Chisoutsa.
While the group was talking in the streets two figures was standing at the end of the street watching them. Mr. Umezu noticed the person and pointed at it, “Who’s that person. Everyone has been wiped out here by the looks of it.”
The two figures walked down the street coming closer to the entire group. It was huge muscled man who was eyeing off the entire group one by one. As this figure was revealed he was large muscled bounded man holding a broadsword wearing only long brown pants and brown boots. He had long black hair and stopped in front of the entire group.
“I am here to talk to the people in search of the author in the war. I come from another world and I will tell you the rest of the story. You must all listen or you will not live,” said the muscled bonded man.
“Who gives you the right to threaten us like that,” Chisoutsa snapped back at the man.
“I’m not threatening you young girl. It is the man in the tower. Come with me and listen carefully,” the man told her.
King Lion and Professor Walken stepped forward and waved Chisoutsa down and nodded to the mystery man, “We will listen if you will tell,” King Lion replied.
