The Search for King Lion – Chapter 1
A few months had past since the events of Zare appearing back in LegoLand. There was a mighty battle when he first appeared however there was lose as well. Assistant, Captain Hook’s right hand person had died in that battle and now the Legomen was working on building together the right team to combat Zare’s power and plan to rule LegoLand for himself. With the help of Mayor Davis the Legomen Castle was build in the City where they were stationed. Wizard was looking at the throne where it was just build and Bill, Ben, Percy Cyber, Kevin and Captain Hook was behind him. “I’m going to go and find someone. Our true leader King Lion. I have a feeling he’s not quite keen on the position to be honest. He has struggled to be King of his kingdom and for that I will need to go to see him,” Captain Hook paced around the place looking at the new castle, “Well you know in the coming few days The Sea Star and my brother Iron Hook with his friend John will be here soon. They will be great assets for us. I also have to go to see him so how do we deal with this?’
“Why don’t me and Ben go with you Hook and and Kevin and Percy can go with Wizard. It seems like a fair split to me.” Bill suggested to Captain Hook and Wizard. “I think that sounds like a good idea to me. We will need to be beware of Zare now that he’s returned and be on our guard at all times. Keep your weapons on you at all times” Wizard decided to travel via horse back which would take a while but wanted to return to his home land in the proper ways. Wizard called over some horses and begin to saddle up on them. “Come with me Kevin and Percy. This will be a fun little adventure for you two,” Captain Hook waved them off, “i’ll see you with the Sea Star! I promise it will be good,” he called out.
The long ride out had lasted a couple days and Percy Cyber a man of technology and living in the snow lands was not used to being on a horse for this long. He leaned over his horse as the trio entered the Dragon Knights area and to the north was where the Kingdom Knights. “Are you ok Percy?” Kevin asked him. “I’m just going to be happy when this ride is over. My bottom and back are killing me” Percy answered rubbing his back on the horse. “The castle is just over there everyone. Not long now come on,” Wizard noted. The trio came to the Kingdom Knight doors and entered inside where the man who they were searching for was there. King Lion stood next to his own throne looking unhappy, “I knew one day you would come for me Wizard,” he called out. Wizard and the other got off their horses and Wizard came up to him. King Lion was a red haired with a large gold crown on his head. “And you would know that I’m reforming the Legomen and that Zare has returned. You are the rightful leader of the group and not me.” “You could lead them if you wanted but for some reason you want all the people who were related to people who died in the first war against Zare to come back for revenge?” King Lions questioned Wizard. “Zare did kill my father but this for saving the whole world here King Lion and you must understand that. For everyone’s sake.” King Lion whistled and his white proud horse came up near him. “My current Kingdom needs me and I struggle enough as it is with it alone.” He climbed upon his horse and looked down at Wizard, “I just can’t do what you want me to do,” he said riding off outside of the Kingdom Knight Castle.
Percy turned around to Wizard, “I’m not sure if he wants to do this role. Like he said he’s already a King and struggling at that.” Wizard refused to give up so easily, “I’ll talk to him. Take Kevin and Percy to the Dragon Knights. That’s my own castle. Check in to see how things are there,” he noted to them. He knew it would take some time to help King Lion.
The Lost Dragon – Chapter 2
Percy and Kevin had been riding on horse back again heading to the Dragon Knights Castle. Percy was still disliking the idea of riding on a horse. “I thought the long hours on a snow traveler was hard a year ago but horse riding is just the pits Kevin. I guess a life time of doing this and you get used to feeling sore.” Kevin just laughed to himself adjusting his helmet, “Oh Percy you’re just from a different culture. The idea of being in the snow for the years you did spent would be too hard for me. Same with being a knight to you. See, the castle is just there. It is surprising that both castle are close by,” he replied. However when the draw bridges arose to greet them there was a very strange visitor at the Dragon Knight’s Castle. A police officer from the city was there with a couple of the knights talking to them about something. Kevin climbed off his horse and came up to the police officer, “Hello and who are you and how did you get here?” The officer tipped his hat to him and smiled, “My name is called Slick. I’m a old friend of Percy and I noticed that you are forming a group to help combat this Zare character. I was hoping I could help however I might have discovered something,” he said.
Percy came up to Slick and was surprised to see him, Slick! What are you doing here. Kevin, this is a friend of mine who helped me on a investigation or two when well my family were time travelers. We haven’t seen each other for three years or so. What brings you here Slick?” he asked him. “I have heard some news from the Pirate islands. There seems to be a large movements by the Solider Imperials to arrest some of your pirate friends. However a tip off from a sailor who discover two small islands that he discovered a strange green statue of a dragon. that was shining a light around the island. I’m wondering if you all know what that is. It’s quite in the magic department what it’s doing,” Slick explained. Kevin looked surprised by the news and looked excited and concerned at the same time. “That must be where Wizard’s dragon has been kept. Wizard lost his dragon when Zare turned it to stone. But over the years Echo the Dragon went missing and we couldn’t find him again. Now he’s been taken somewhere to where the pirates roam. We have to go there and see where Echo is and free him. Wizard has the ability to do that. He’s been working on his magic in order to break the spell. I’m just worried Echo’s signal will also catch Zare’s eye too.” Percy and Slick understood the dangerous nature of the problem. “If Wizard can get King Lion on board soon than we can sort out this issue. Having a dragon on our side would be very handy to have,” Percy said thinking out loud. Kevin turned to Slick who was dressed neatly in his uniform, “How did you get here so quickly?’ “Oh I took my police motorbike. The car wouldn’t have made some of those hills and places you have around here. But I got here in the end.”
The three of them decided it was best to wait at the Dragon Knights castle until Wizard returned with or without King Lion.
A Worried King – Chapter 3
Wizard had wandered along the grounds of a hill side where he was looking for King Lion where he took off away from the Kingdom Knights castle. He stood as he noticed King Lion was near a tree on a hill looking tired and unwilling to move. He took his crown off his head and looked at this with a feeling of despair. Wizard slowly walked up the hill to see him, “The crown always feels heavy on your head and I know that. When I was running the old Legomen with my father and the Dragon Knights. Now the time has come for both of us to help guide the new Legomen into defeating Zare for good,” Wizard called out to him. King Lion sighed and looked at Wizard closing his eyes, “I’m not sure if I can really do this. It’s the great task ahead that concerns me. Zare has already won a massive war before and what do we have, a few people put together? How we are going to defeat him this time?” he asked. Wizard nodded and understood how hard it was going to be.
“Yes, some have a family history to these people who had fallen before and some were picked because I have faith in them. We need a good leader like you King Lion. Our fathers were both very good leaders and sometimes they didn’t see eye to eye but we have a chance to build something very special here. If only you could see that,” Wizard explained to King Lion. “What is it that you see in me that makes me a good leader? When I doubt myself so much?” Wizard stood next to King Lion and grabbed his crown and showed it to him, “Strength can be found from the people you lead. You have a kingdom that thinks highly of you and the Legomen who believe you in too. Just give it a try King Lion, that’s all I ask of you. Zare’s power will come for your kingdom and my castle too. People will die if we don’t do anything now.” He placed the crown on King Lion’s head and King Lion felt more calm about the idea. “I’ll give a go. Why not? As you said Zare is coming after everyone and I must protect my kingdom and now the whole world from him. Take me to the Dragon Knights Castle and let’s meet your friends.
